Thirtieth Meeting

The 30th meeting of the Stern Family Circle was held at the home of Mr & Mrs Fred Stern, Chestnut Avenue, on the evening of May 5, 1951. The addition to the minutes were Ozzie's daughter and the meeting waited until the arrival of the Acting Secretary. The regular secretary being home in bed it being just 10 days since she had the aforementioned daughter. Collection of dues-Gus says he has no money as he went to the races today.

Report for dinner was that Centerton Inn is converting to new broilers on the Sunday we could go. Al & Al will be busy from now on. Motion carried to leave it till Fall.

Cousins have arrived in Israel, a family of 3 in a barracks living on cheese and radishes and need help. Pop has helped with packages of food and clothing. They need cash for a place to live. A. suggests sending a package of food each week. until the next meeting, taking money out of the Treasury, rather than sending cash.

Anniversary this month is Jane & A., a punch bowl is presented. Jane says the next time we call come to her house we'll have to drink punch.

Congratulations offered to the new parents. Discussion folows on the baby's looks.Ruth says they must have gotten the wrong baby it looks too beautiful.
