The 29th meeting of the Stern Family Circle took place at the home of Mr and Mrs Gus Stern on the evening of Aptil 1, 1951. Minutes are read as Ozzie mashes elbow on on Ruth's table. Bea Stern (Adolph's youngest daughter) arrives just at end of minute reading. A. suggests addition to minutes, Jame has now made fried chicken to equal Sylvia's.

The treasurer's report is as follows:

Mom's birthday $26.00
Balance $46.30

A. says he was honored to present gifts to Mama, she says it's a pleasure to have such children and to bring more gifts. Mama makes a speech of appreciation, she says she's happy and thrilled and is glad that everyone to have much money to give her more presents.

A. says as we are particularly honored to not only have Canadian sistern and brethren but we have their progeny. First speech is from Clint. Clint brilliantly says nothing, passes to Sammy (
son-in-law of Anna). Sammy says he had to talk for an hour and a half to get a plate of spaghetti than he makes a nice speech which is well received. Gladys ( Anna's daughter) says she is happy to be here and hopes we all come to see her in Canada but not please not all at the same time. Clint, now called on again, says they al said what he wanted to say in the first place.

Treasurer has now collected the dues and we have a balance of $91.30. Monty says its time to buy something. A. says it's time to discuss a lobster dinner. Secretary says it better be damn soon. vote is taken to have it damn soon.

The Canadian vote is not counted as they are not citizens. A. appoints a committee with full power to act, only paying members allowed. Someone suggests we make it before Passover as it wouldn't look nice eating lobster during Passover. Ruthie says they are going to have a Seder at the Inn. Monty ways it is a lousy member who would tell how A. threw the golf club at the caddy. A. wants Montyto show his new girdle. Monty objects because children are present. Albert wants girls girdles dis pounded , too.

In view of Secretary's condition Goldie will take next meeting. Lillie suggests that since next anniversary is A.'s that he pay for dinner. He says he will if everyone gives him a $10.00 gift. Oz says "In cash?" He says, " Naturally!" Goldie claims she has a bone to pick with A. but she finds her dander has now receded. Helen announces she has a birhtday coming up next Tues. Eveyone sings Happy Birthday to her.

A. says "Tachless" will now report on trip to Florida. Anna reports, in French, that all she loves should go to Fla. and she reports on the French food in all the restaurants. Lillie wants to know how she keeps he figure. Sylvia says thney take an enema with every dessert. Pop, when asked for comment says, we should all live and be well and it should be a good season, etc. Sylvia says, Halahveh! Motion is made to adjourn. A. announces that Treasurer has just paid Ozzie for bushels out of money just collected. President calls for Senatorial investigation.
