Twentieth Meeting

The twentieth meeting of the Stern Family Circle took place at the home of the Herman Stern's on Friday evening the 13th of January. Meeting was started by Lynn. The minutes were approved as read. Jane brought Eddie a size 36 belt, four sizes too small. The guest of the evening is a surprise, Papa. We have two gifts with one recipient. Alfred gives the gift to Albert who in turn gives it to Sylvia. For diplomatic reasons there is no report on Papa's gift but Eddie has the bill. Treasurer collects $40.00, Lynn collects $20.00 for gifts which leaves a balance of $45.00. A. says the meeting will be short as the refreshments are out of this world and should be as we have been waiting long enough for them. A. gives a detailed report on Miami and it's good food, also a vibrant debate ensues between A. and Ruth and Alfred on Cuba. During the conversation on food and cheapness thereof A. takes off shoes to prove he wears size 13. What this has to do with the conversation the secretary cannot imagine. On this bewildered note the meeting adjourns for refreshments.

Respectfully submitted.
