The twenty-first meeting of the Stern Family Circle took place at the home of Mr & Mrs Gus Stern, Grant Avenue, South Vineland, N.J. on Saturday evening the 10th of February. In case you've lost track it's now 1950. Sixty years ago.The minutes were read and no comments were made on refreshments. Treasurer's report sounds okay to Treasurer. $20 for gifts leaving a balance of $25.00. A. suggests that the gift for Mom and Pop be paid for on a gradual ( I think she meant graduated) basis starting with Herman and Gus and working down to the bottom the produce men. ( The produce men were Lawrence, Albert and Alfred) A. hasn't shaved and it's a moot point whether or not he looks better in his unshaven condition. The Jr. Vice and his brother-in-law Lennie (Len Lubin was married to Ethel Adolph's daughter) are appointed the standing committee as there aren't any seats for them. Our guests for the evening are Sylvia Brownberg and Jack Puenti of New York. Dues are collected from all, even the balcony, also for the TV set.

A. says whatever the difference Herman will make it up. Jr. Vice says he will quit clan with the Stern's don't stop kicking and tilting his machines.
Monty Speigel sold and maintained pin-ball machines. At this point Lana Gus and Ruth's younger daughter joins the party. The clan collected $160.00 and with a blance of $25.00gave Herman $185.00 , well witnessed. A. nominated Sylvia as new President but she declines the honor. Gifts of the evening are presented, Herman makes presentation to Sara and Lawrence makes it to herman. A. compliments Sect. on choice of gifts also on attendance which is complement to Gus Sterns. Sect. warns that she has no more lead in pencil. Lil reminds all to vote for Dodo as Heiress. Jane's belt for Eddie is being worn by Paul Wexler (Another son-in-law of Adolph. He was married to Claire) Late guests are Ruth's Aunt and Uncle from Wilmington. Meeting Adjourned, Praise Allah.
