Twelfth Meeting

The twelfth meting of the Stern Family Circle took place at the home of Mr and Mrs Herman Stern, South Main Road, South Vineland, New Jersey on Sunday evening, Dec 5th, 1948. As Albert and Sylvia were late the assemblage watched the Ed Sullivan Show on what was termed, a cheap television set. After Albert and Sylvia arrived, the meeting was opened by Adolph. The minutes were read and approved as read. Adolph asked for new business. Herman says, refreshments are now served. The Treasurer's report as of 10:05 P.M. was 73.25 as $20.00 for flowers and $20.00 for gifts for tonite. Adolph reports that Cadillacs are now available and business was lousy all over.

Monty is missing so there are no funny minutes. Greetings at this point were exchanged between Momma and Sammy and Elaine. (
Daughter and son-in law of Herman) The Treasurer collected $40.00 which gave him $113.15 again. Adolph presented gifts to Ruthie and Alfred and Sylvia and Oz. After waiting 384 days for her gift Lynn was too surprised to make an acceptance speech. No further new except food which Adolph goes out to report on. Next meeting to be at Goldie's in the middle of Jan. No further business at this meeting except the congratulation to Momma on her 58th wedding anniversary and the fact that she managed to remain 69 years old for five years.

Meeting adjourned for refreshments.

Note from Helen Thanks for flowers

Respectfully submitted.

Lynn Stern, Sect.
