Tenth Meeting

As you can tell my Mother went through stages when she wrote these minutes as you will see by the following:

June 20, 1948

Jane and Adolph's house.

Minutes approved as read. No Committee reports. Dinner held at Centerton
This was a restaurant in the town of Centerton which was about ten miles from Vineland. Why they went there I have no idea. Albert needs a haircut. Jane votes family get him ribbons. Father's Day Pop not time to come, doesn't like present. wants a talbe radio , will exchange portable.

Sylvia complements Herman on his son. Goldie not left, no investigation. (
I have no idea what this means) Fred's teeth cost $100. to fix. Plans talked about for summer party some time in August. Party on Warren's lawn, money out of treasury- Committee-- Ed, Sylvia and Fred. Junior Vice President suggest sample party first to see if we like. Adolph wants to know if we can get a bushel of PISS clams. All in favor. A. suggest as supper--no kids-- Sylvia wants to leave kids home so she can get drunk. Secretary announces she's to be on radio. My Mother had a fifteen minute radio show on WWBZ in Vineland. Meting adjourned.
